Shell and Chevron ask Philippine court to refer tax dispute to ICC

Subsidiaries of Shell and Chevron have petitioned the Supreme Court of the Philippines to uphold the jurisdiction of an ICC tribunal after a state audit commission refused to reconsider part of a US$3 billion tax demand against them – a dispute that has also given rise to an ICSID claim.
