Tanzanian power award faces annulment bid

A Tanzanian state-owned power company has applied to annul a US$148 million ICSID award in favour of the Hong Kong arm of Standard Chartered Bank.

Key bills passed in Singapore, as Hong Kong moves towards funding

UPDATED. Singapore’s parliament yesterday passed two bills – one proposing amendments to introduce third party funding for litigation and arbitration and another designed to give teeth to the mediation process – while Hong Kong has recently published its promised bill on funding.
