PCA ends standoff over Islamic treaty claim
In a first, the Permanent Court of Arbitration has agreed to designate an appointing authority in a case against Libya under a little-used multilateral investment treaty after the Organization of Islamic Cooperation failed to appoint an arbitrator on the state’s behalf.
