- About Us
Pinsent Masons is the largest law firm providing tailored solutions to the infrastructure sector. We use our expertise to support the aspirations of our global clients. Infrastructure is one of the core sectors around which we have based our business and we have a large specialist team of lawyers who make it their job to know the industry. We advise businesses that are involved in procuring and delivering various combinations of design, finance, construction and maintenance of complex and critical assets.
At any time we have around 60 international arbitrations under way. We are instructed by companies, governments and state agencies. Often large, complex and high value, the arbitrations involve joint ventures and consortia, software and technology projects, energy supply, licensing, commodities, manufacturing and international sales and distribution. We also deal with disputes related to bilateral investment treaties. Multiple claims, technical engineering issues, supply chain complications – it's all in a day's work for us. Our team of advocates, arbitrators and mediators consistently wins awards. We have been Global Construction Law Firm of the Year for the past 13 years, and Global Arbitration Review ranks us in the top 100 arbitration practices. As market leaders we are used to developing innovative solutions to enhance project deliverability. Our team consists of 350 infrastructure specialist lawyers who are able to deliver legal and strategic advice on major infrastructure projects.
