At last a new law for the UAE?
The United Arab Emirates appears to be on the verge of enacting a new arbitration law based on the UNCITRAL Model Law and compliant international standards – while a controversial article of the country's penal code that allowed arbitrators to be imprisoned for showing bias looks set to be amended.
