Kazakhstan creditors halt UK enforcement ahead of fraud trial

Moldovan investors Anatolie and Gabriel Stati have sought to discontinue their action to enforce a US$520 million Energy Charter Treaty award against Kazakhstan in the English courts, months before a scheduled trial of the state’s allegations that they obtained the award through fraud.
