The percentage of women appointed as arbitrators by institutions in 2016 was, on average, around 17%, up from the 2015 average of 12% and a considerable improvement on the position four years ago, says Houston-based arbitrator Lucy Greenwood in research released to mark the first anniversary of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge.
