British beef producer asks US court to enforce ICSID award

A beef-producing British family business has filed a petition in Washington, DC, to enforce a US$98 million ICSID award against Venezuela over the expropriation of its cattle farms, after the state’s repeated failure to pay costs advances for an ongoing annulment proceeding resulted in a stay of enforcement being lifted.
