BLP survey shows support for party-appointed arbitrators despite bias risk

In Berwin Leighton Paisner’s latest international arbitration survey, participants in the process were asked to consider the party appointment of arbitrators, with 66% saying it continues to be a desirable practice, though an overlapping 52% thought accepted an increased risk of partisan arbitrators appearing on the tribunal.
