Rodner Martínez & Asociados

05 March 2012

This Venezuelan firm is a “small, highly focused and without doubt at the top of its game” – according to the Latin Lawyer 250.

Established in 1978, the 10-lawyer firm is best known for its work in the banking sector on behalf of foreign financial institutions. However, US-born partner James Otis Rodner has developed an arbitration practice, taking work on behalf of various banks, international funds and multinational agencies. The firm was an active contributor to the drafting and discussion of Venezuela’s Commercial Arbitration Act.

Rodner is a member of the ICC Court and regularly publishes newspaper columns and other articles on his personal website.
