Wardyński & Partners

21 February 2011

Wardyński & Partners was one of the first commercial practices to establish itself in Poland after the end of the Cold War.

Who’s Who Name:
Tomasz Wardyński

Always astute at reading the direction of the local market, in recent years it’s made a point of building up its arbitration capabilities. Four partners now regularly serve as arbitrators and three others work as counsel. In recent times, the practice has represented a vodka producer in a dispute with US opponents over a distribution agreement, as well as a commodities exporter in a dispute arising out of the collapse of Lehman Brothers. The firm is also a trusted adviser to the Polish and UK governments. It runs an excellent English-language website featuring news and articles on litigation and arbitration in Poland.
