Mr Wu focuses primarily on the mining and natural resources sector, with interdisciplinary experience in project development and financing, dispute resolution and sovereignty risk mitigation. Mr Wu is a member of the New York State Bar and has the China legal professional qualification (non-practising).
Before joining White & Case, as a senior in-house counsel Mr Wu gained significant legal and corporate management experience assisting leading Chinese mining companies in acquiring and operating mining assets in countries including Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Peru, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Philippines and the Russian Federation.
