Will acts for clients across a broad spectrum of commercial arbitration, investment arbitration and complex litigation in the English courts and overseas. Will has acted in dozens of arbitrations under all major institutional rules and in jurisdictions all over the world. He has acted in many M&A arbitrations, including claims for fraudulent misrepresentation, claims to compel completion, damages claims for failure to complete, warranty claims and disputes over purchase price adjustment. He has acted for both private equity houses and corporates, and he routinely acts in multibillion-dollar disputes and is an experienced advocate in arbitration.

Will also has very broad experience litigating disputes in the English courts. Recent cases include disputes between joint venture partners and claims arising from the sale and purchase of assets and businesses. Acting mainly for banks and funds, Will acts in high-value finance disputes, including matters relating to the mis-selling of loan products, complex derivative transactions and claims against auditors and administrators, as well as complex debt and enforcement actions.

Will is admitted as an advocate in the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre and he has a growing practice as an advocate before international courts and tribunals. He is especially experienced in matters giving rise to overlapping proceedings and complex issues of jurisdiction. He is very experienced in procedural litigation under the Arbitration Act, including actions to set aside arbitral awards, jurisdictional challenges,actions to remove arbitrators and anti-suit and anti-arbitration injunctions. He relies on this experience to design sophisticated disputes strategies for clients, both as claimants and as defendants.
