Mr. Sun has extensive experiences in the field of complex dispute resolution and enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards. His expertise includes construction, real estate, corporate equity dispute and international sale of goods. Mr. Sun has represented renowned construction corporations, large state-owned enterprises and leading investment companies over numerous disputes in both domestic and international matters before courts and arbitral tribunals. Mr. Sun frequently acts as presiding, sole, or party-appointed arbitrator in several arbitration institutions. He is the panel arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and of arbitration commissions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. He is the member of ICC China Commission on Arbitration & ADR (since 2017) and is the China Representative of ICC Young Arbitrator Forum (since 2017). He co-founded the Permanent Forum of Chinese Construction Law (PFCCL), a professional communication platform aiming at promoting the amelioration and development of Chinese construction law and serves as the Secretary General. Mr. Sun is a prolific author and has published dozens of professional works. He is the author of Arbitration in China – A Practitioner’s Guide, a Kluwer published textbook on Chinese arbitration. He is also the Chief Editor of China Construction Law Review.
