Ulyana Bardyn is a senior managing associate in Dentons’ international dispute resolution practice group. Her practice is focused on complex cross-border disputes, including commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration and commercial litigation. Ulyana’s experience includes appearing as counsel in cases governed by the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, the International Chamber of Commerce, the London Court of International Arbitration, the American Arbitration Association and UNCITRAL, as well as commercial litigation matters in US federal and state courts. Ulyana is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and she sits as an arbitrator. Ulyana previously worked with the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, where she oversaw hundreds of arbitration matters. An active member of the international law community, Ulyana serves as Kluwer Arbitration Blog assistant editor for North America. She teaches a class on advocacy in investment arbitration at Brooklyn Law School and a class on international commercial arbitration at the Arbitration School of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association held annually in Kyiv, Ukraine. Ulyana frequently speaks and writes on topics relating to commercial and investor-state arbitration.
