Dr Stuart Amor is a senior managing director at FTI Consulting. Stuart acts as a testifying expert witness, focussing mainly on oil and gas matters. He has been engaged as an expert witness in more than 20 disputes and given oral testimony in arbitral hearings on many occasions. Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2016, Stuart spent more than 20 years as an investment analyst and global head of research at various investment banks, where he valued companies and advised investors and corporates on valuation issues.
Stuart has extensive capital raising experience. He was the sole lead analyst on Lukoil’s US$340 million mandatory convertible bond placing – essentially Lukoil’s initial public offering (IPO). He was also Credit Suisse’s analyst on Gazprom’s IPO. While he was the global head of equity research at ING, Stuart oversaw the deal-related research and valuation on more than a dozen other transactions in various sectors, including oil and gas, metals and mining, agriculture, cement and banking.
Stuart has a doctorate from Cambridge University and a Master of Management degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
