Steve Kim is the secretary general of KCAB International. He is in charge of the day-to-day operations and global promotion of KCAB International’s brand and services. A US attorney, Steve started his career at the AAA/ICDR as case counsel, then became ICDR director, where he helped ICDR to grow to be a top arbitral institution. Steve also served as senior corporate counsel to Samsung, where he advised on multinational disputes, competition law, intellectual property and a wide range of business-related issues. He went on to become country manager for CPA Global, where he created new sales and client service teams to enable South Korea to become one of the most important markets for the company. Steve also served as head consultant for CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, where he advised on the firm’s business development and growth in South Korea.
Steve has a BA in psychology from University of California San Diego and a JD from St John’s University School of Law in New York. He is fluent in English and Korean.
