[email protected]Steve Harris is a Senior Managing Director in the Economic Consulting segment at FTI Consulting. He is based in Dubai and founded the segment’s Expert Witness practice in the United Arab Emirates in 2013. Steve has over 14 years of experience as a forensic accountant, focusing on identifying and quantifying economic loss in the context of commercial disputes across a range of industries. Steve is listed in the Who’s Who Legal 2018 survey of leading International Arbitration Expert Witnesses and has been instructed as an expert in ICC, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, CAS, Swiss Federal Court and Hong Kong court proceedings. Steve’s particular areas of expertise include the identification and valuation of lost profits, cost verification, the valuation of businesses and shareholdings, solving complex accounting issues and financial reporting. Steve earned his LL.B. from the University of England, Bristol. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
