Stefanie Pfisterer

Stefanie Pfisterer is a partner in the litigation and arbitration team at Homburger in Zurich. She has been involved in more than 50 arbitration proceedings, acting as counsel or arbitrator. She is particularly experienced in disputes arising, inter alia, out of merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements, international sales contracts, and agency and distribution. Stefanie Pfisterer also represents clients in complex state court litigations in a broad range of matters.

Stefanie Pfisterer has been recognised in The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner in the field of arbitration, where she is described as a true expert in international arbitration. She has also been recognised in Who’s Who Legal as a ‘Future Leader’ in arbitration (Europe – Partners). She is described as follows: ‘highly intelligent and analytical’, ‘brilliant and brainy’ and she ‘responds quickly to situations in arbitration proceedings’ (2022 edition).

Stefanie Pfisterer is a member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre, the International Chamber of Commerce Commission of Arbitration and ADR, and a lecturer at the University of St Gallen. She is the author of a number of publications in the field of dispute resolution, including commentaries on the Swiss Private International Law Act, the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure and the Swiss Rules.
