Santiago Cervantes is an associate in the international arbitration and litigation practice at Galicia Abogados, where he focuses his practice on local and transnational arbitration proceedings (institutional and ad hoc), acting as counsel and secretary of the arbitral tribunal. His work focuses on shareholder disputes, and cases concerning the insurance and reinsurance, and energy sectors, as well as on court litigation, representing national and transnational companies, both as plaintiff and defence.

Prior to joining the arbitration and litigation team in 2020, Mr Cervantes worked for four years in the real estate and M&A practice at Galicia Abogados.

He obtained his law degree from the Free School of Law and is assistant professor to Cecilia Azar at the Panamerican University.
