Roula Harfouche is a director in FTI’s economic and financial consulting practice in London and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. She joined FTI in January 2010. Prior to this, she worked at Ernst & Young’s valuation advisory group, where she focused on contentious valuations. Roula was formerly part of the forensic accounting group at Clifford Chance, an equity analyst at Morgan Stanley, and part of the economic and financial consulting division of Arthur Andersen. Roula has 13 years’ experience performing and managing valuations in a variety of contexts, in particular in dispute contexts, for expert determination, litigation, and arbitration purposes. She is a member of the Society of Share and Business Valuers and of the Valuation and Forensic Special Interest Groups of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Roula has been appointed as expert and has worked alongside the appointed valuation experts to assess damages and valuation issues, managing valuations, drafting numerous valuation expert reports and joint statements of experts, and attending meetings of experts. She has also attended trials and arbitration hearings to support the testifying expert and the legal team and to contribute to examinations and cross-examinations.Roula has worked on matters before the UK High Court, the UK Family Division, the Patents Court, the French commercial court, as well as in LCIA and ICC arbitration forums, and in mediation.
