Robert Meade

Robert Meade is a senior associate in Ashurst's dispute resolution practice based in London. His core practice consists of advising energy, resources, infrastructure and transport clients on international arbitration proceedings and English High Court litigation.  He also has experience of adjudication and mediation.His international arbitration experience spans a range of sectors. He has recently acted on several oil and gas arbitrations concerning activities in Africa, Papua New Guinea and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.  These have included ICC, LCIA and ad hoc arbitrations.Robert also advises his clients on the application of international financial and trade sanctions (in particular those relating to Iran and Russia) and has helped several clients develop compliance policies focused on sanctions risk.  Robert is an active member of Ashurst's Iran Group.
