Richard Maidman litigates disputes and intellectual property suits as a member of the firm’s international litigation and arbitration, and intellectual property practices.

In his disputes practice, Richard represents states and private and state-owned entities in commercial and investment treaty disputes before arbitral tribunals under various governing rules. He has represented clients in disputes ranging from intellectual property to construction, energy pricing and supply, power purchase agreements and environmental clean-up, among others. Richard also represents foreign sovereigns and state instrumentalities in US courts.
