Before becoming a lawyer, Richard was a chartered civil engineer working in the UK and in Hong Kong for both employers and main contractors. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Institution of Civil Engineers.Richard specialises in construction dispute resolution. He has over 10 years of experience in handling disputes (litigation and arbitration) in Hong Kong and other jurisdictions.Richard has advised on some of the most complex and high-profile cases in the region, with particular experience in acting for the Hong Kong government and government entities.
