Richard Brady, PhD, is a vice president at Intensity with expertise in microeconomics and financial analysis. Dr Brady has extensive experience in high-stakes litigation matters involving the life sciences, biotechnology, consumer technology, pharmaceuticals, software, telecommunications and tobacco industries. Dr Brady has taken the lead on Intensity’s matters at the International Trade Commission and in several high-profile cases in US district courts, including the Juno Therapeutics v. Kite Pharma matter from the pre-litigation phase through to trial completion, and was instrumental in helping secure a full damages award for Juno Therapeutics. According to Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), Dr Brady ‘has a remarkable ability to digest and synthesize complicated records’ and ‘is a driving force in developing damages theories [and] in preparing the lengthy and detailed expert reports necessary for complex cases’. IAM added that Dr Brady’s ‘skill, intelligence, work ethic and tenacity make him indispensable’. Dr Brady is sought to apply his expertise on economic issues pertaining to intellectual property disputes, financial matters, contract disputes, and antitrust and competition.
He earned his PhD in economics from the University of California, San Diego, his MA in economics from Duke University, his MS in finance from the University of Memphis, and his BS in finance and management from Christian Brothers University.
