Ricardo Guimarães

Ricardo Guimarães is counsel in the dispute resolution department in lisbon and member of Linklaters international arbitration group. Ricardo regularly acts as counsel and arbitrator in arbitration cases related to construction contracts, public law disputes, public works contracts, public service concession contracts, particularly in the road sector, in the water and waste water sector and the health sector, PPP contracts and commercial contracts.Has relevant experience in matters involving Angolan and Mozambican law.Ricardo is member of the Portuguese Arbitration Association and integrates the list of arbitrators of the Arbitration Centre of the Lisbon and Oporto Commercial Association and of Concordia Arbitration Centre.He is a regular speaker at arbitration conferences organised by national and international arbitration institutions and contributor to international publications, having published several articles on arbitration matters related to lusophone African countries.
