Dr Paul Hauser is a senior associate in the litigation and dispute resolution department in the Frankfurt office of Clifford Chance. He represents clients in domestic and cross-border litigation and arbitration proceedings. He regularly advises on post-M&A, banking and real estate proceedings and all other sorts of commercial disputes. His recent practice has also had a focus on the hotel sector and the beverage industry. As a member of the German Institution of Arbitration (Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit, DIS) he served as a regional co-head in Frankfurt for the DIS under 40 group (DIS40) from 2015–2018. Paul Hauser teaches transnational dispute resolution at the University of Frankfurt and at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg. He is a board member at Bayreuth Center for Dispute Resolution, Mediation and Arbitration (BayCDMA) at Bayreuth University. He holds a PhD from Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, and an LLM from King’s College London.
