Paige Burnham is an associate at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, based in Vancouver. She practises in the areas of arbitration (international and domestic) and commercial litigation. Paige graduated from the combined JD/MA programme at the University of Ottawa and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in 2017. Prior to being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019, Paige clerked for seven justices at the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Paige’s arbitration experience includes acting as junior counsel in significant commercial arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL Rules, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and the Domestic and International Arbitration Rules of the Vancouver International Commercial Arbitration Centre, among others. Recent commercial arbitration matters on which Paige has been counsel include: counsel to a Canadian technology company in dispute with an Asian mobile phone supplier; counsel to a Mexican beverage supply franchisee in a dispute with a Canadian franchisor; counsel to a provincial Crown corporation in a dispute relating to sponsorship rights; counsel to an energy utility in a dispute under energy purchase agreements; and counsel to an engineering firm in a dispute under a marketing agreement.
