Omar Colomé is a senior associate of Asali, which he joined in 2014. Mr Colomé specialises in complex litigation mainly related to maritime, corporate, financial, telecommunications, and insurance matters. He has represented clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals, in proceedings governed under International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration and Commission of the Mexico City National Chamber of Commerce rules. He has also advised foreign investors in connection with investor-state disputes brought against Mexico.

Mr Colomé graduated from the Free University Law School (Escuela Libre de Derecho) and holds an LLM from the University of Chicago Law School and is admitted to the New York Bar. He worked at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in New York in 2018, where he assisted in the administration of commercial arbitrations. Mr Colomé is the author of several papers on matters related to Mexican dispute resolution and arbitration. He previously edited Pandecta, an alumni magazine of the published by the Free University Law School. His practice has been recognised by legal directories such as Benchmark Litigation.
