Olena Voronovych is a case manager at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre and is responsible for management and administration of arbitration cases. Olena is a qualified lawyer in a civil law jurisdiction. She holds a master’s degree with honours in international private law. Olena has more than 10 years’ experience in the field of commercial law, international arbitration, general corporate law and real estate. Prior to joining the secretariat team in the DIAC, Olena was a managing partner in an international boutique law firm in Dubai focusing on transnational corporate, commercial and dispute matters in the CIS and the Middle East. Earlier in her career, she held a position in one of the leading Ukrainian’s law firms, where she gained extensive knowledge and solid experience working on high profile commercial projects and representing the government of Ukraine on investment treaty arbitration matters under ICSID and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Olena is the author of several articles published in different legal publications including the American Chamber of Commerce Annual Review.
