Nicholas Cousino is a managing director at Ankura, based in London. He is a construction delay expert with more than 13 years’ experience within the construction industry in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. His formal education includes degrees in engineering and construction law and he completed an advance award in expert evidence. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
He has lived and worked in London for eight years. He has experience in energy projects (coal, oil and renewable energy), oil, gas and chemical facilities (offshore, chemical process and refinery), building projects (commercial and residential), and civil infrastructure and transportation (rail, road and utilities) under a variety of procurement methods and forms of contract. He has been appointed as delay expert in matters since 2019 and has acted as lead assistant in numerous international arbitrations.
