Nadia Darwazeh

Nadia Darwazeh is a counsel in the Shanghai officeof O’Melveny & Myers and a member of the firm’s internationalpractice group. She is admitted in England andWales as a solicitor-advocate and in Germany as Rechtsanwältin.Her practice focuses on international arbitrationand multi-jurisdictional litigation. She has representedclients in arbitrations and advised on arbitral proceedingsbefore various arbitral institutions including the ICC,HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, BAC, LCIA and DIS.Nadia’s arbitration practice covers a broad range ofindustries. She has significant experience in large constructionclaims, M&A disputes, bankruptcy-relateddisputes and general commercial cases.Prior to joining O’Melveny, Nadia worked for leadinginternational law firms in London, Frankfurt andParis. Educated at the University of Warwick (LLB)and the University of Cambridge (LLM), Nadia is theauthor of numerous articles on dispute resolution andregularly speaks on this topic. She has native languageproficiency in English, French and German and speaksfluent Dutch and Mandarin.
