Melissa specialises in assisting clients to resolve major commercial, construction and infrastructure disputes, particularly in the mining, oil and gas, and renewables spaces. She works closely with clients to resolve disputes early and cost-effectively. She regularly leverages alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as arbitration, facilitation, expert determination and dispute resolution boards to achieve this goal.
Melissa is a former director of the Society of Construction Law Australia and current chair of its communications subcommittee, where she produces the Society of Construction Law Australia podcast. She has also been recognised by the Australian Disputes Centre for her skills in arbitration.
