Mr Baker has over 24 years of forensic accounting experience and specialises in providing services to the construction industry. He has provided a variety of services including contract closeout audits, contract pricing compliance reviews, termination proposal preparation and review, change order reviews, pre-contract pricing analyses, claim preparation and review, and fraud-related review services for contractors and owners. Mr Baker has considerable expertise in forensic accounting, construction cost accounting, cost monitoring and dispute resolution services for owners and contractors. His expertise encompasses the review and analysis of a variety of cost types, pricing issues, contract pricing mechanisms, accounting systems and documentation normally associated with the construction industry for both the private and government contracting sectors. He has performed construction contract cost audits on a diverse mix of projects. These engagements involved a variety of construction cost audit types including contract close-outs, concurrent requisition reviews on cost reimbursable contracts, pricing disputes and terminations. In other forensic accounting work, Mr Baker has assisted numerous clients in quantifying damages on contract disputes. His work included measuring the financial impacts to a variety of costs that are associated with delays and inefficiencies. He has testified as an expert witness in matters concerning construction damages and environmental disputes. In addition, Mr Baker has eight years of professional accounting experience in public accounting and private industry, and is a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey.
