Luis Alonso is a partner at Miranda & Amado. His practice focuses on investor-state and commercial arbitration under the ICC, ICSID, CCL, PUCP, AMCHAM and UNCITRAL arbitration rules, as well as in complex judicial disputes in commercial and arbitration related disputes. He has represented clients in the energy, oil and gas, mining, retail, construction, transportation and insurance industries, among others. Mr Navarro earned his law degree from University of Lima in Peru and holds a master of laws (LLM) in international economic law, business and policy from Stanford University Law School. He joined Miranda & Amado as an associate in 2011 and was part of the International Arbitration Group of King & Spalding LLP in New York from 2016–2017.

Mr Navarro is Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where he teaches conflict resolution theory. He is a member of the Club Español del Arbitraje. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
