Jyothi Mani has been with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre since 2014 and is currently a case manager with the centre. Prior to joining the DIAC, she was engaged as a senior consultant with a private legal consulting firm in Dubai and handled multiple high-value mergers and acquisitions, particularly in real estate and construction sectors. During her tenure with the firm, she represented clients in respect of real estate and construction disputes before the local authorities and government departments in the UAE. Prior to her move to Dubai, Jyothi worked as an in-house counsel for a large corporate in the Indian entertainment industry.She was also actively involved with various NGOs in India for the amendment of the Indian Mental Health Act 1987 and for the amendment of the Indian Criminal Procedure Code 1973. Jyothi earned a bachelor of law degree in 2008 from University of Bangalore, India and a master of law in international dispute resolution in 2016 from the University of London, UK. She is currently affiliated with the Karnataka Bar Association in India.
