Joseph D Pizzurro

Joseph D. Pizzurro is managing partner and member of the International Arbitration and Litigation groups.  He has been with the firm since 1976 and became a partner in 1985.  Mr. Pizzurro has a wide range of experience in international litigation and international commercial arbitration, having acted as counsel for both claimants and defendants in proceedings conducted in the United States and abroad, including proceedings conducted under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and arbitrations utilising the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules.  He has represented foreign states, state-owned entities, and intergovernmental organisations as well as publicly and privately held companies located throughout the world.  He also has extensive experience in a full range of commercial, securities and business-related litigation throughout the United States, at both the trial and appellate levels.
