John C. Dryllerakis is the Managing Senior Partner of Dryllerakis & Associates. He is active in all fields of business law, including specialization in Corporate Law, M&As, Tax, Competi-tion law and Arbitration. He has served as arbitrator, party representative, legal expert in numerous institutional and ad hoc arbitrations. He has advised and represented companies and State-owned entities in domestic and international arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, UN-CITRAL, and Greek arbitration rules. His experience includes engineering, energy (electricity and natural gas), construction, mining, commodities, anti-trust and state aid and share-holders disputes.

He has long experience in the area of investment incentives and privatisations, having acted in many cases either for the investor or for the Greek State. He has also participated in law-making committees for the amendment of the legal framework regarding tax law, competi-tion law, corporate law and privatizations.

He has been General Counsel and General Tax Counsel of the Exxon affiliates in Greece (1967- 1984) and subsequently of Shell Hellas (1984- 1996). He is member of the Athens Bar Association, Board member of the Hellenic Association of Law Firms, and Treasurer of the Hellenic Association of European Law.
