[email protected]Joel Franks is a senior director at FTI Consulting and is based in London. Joel is a member of the economic and financial consulting practice and has over nine years of experience in valuation, financial analysis, accounting and auditing.
Since 2012, Joel has managed and contributed to projects providing expert reports and supporting testifying experts in the context of litigation and international arbitration. Typically, this involves business valuation, the quantification of lost profits or advice relating to accounting matters.
Joel has assisted in the preparation of reports for submission to the UK Courts, the CAT, as well as to ICC, ICSID, and SCC tribunals and tribunals convened under the UNCITRAL rules. His experience covers a range of industry sectors including telecommunications, renewable energy, retail, and financial services (including electronic payments).
Joel is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a degree in economics and econometrics from the University of Nottingham.
