Jiaying (Angela) Yan is a senior associate in Zhong Lun’s dispute resolution department. She is admitted to practise law in mainland China and California, United States. She joined Zhong Lun in 2014. Her practice covers various types of China-related commercial arbitration, including energy, education, hotel management, hospital service, entertainment, insurance and domain names. In recent years, she has represented or advised clients on several Belt and Road disputes in the mining and infrastructure sectors. These arbitration cases are administered by institutions including the CIETAC, SIAC, ICC and HKIAC. She has also advised clients on potential treaty arbitration.

Her practice includes representing clients in arbitration-related lawsuits before Chinese courts. She also frequently cooperates with lawyers from other jurisdictions to deal with arbitration-related winding-up petitions and parallel litigation. Angela is a member of the ERA Pledge Young Practitioners Subcommittee
