Jérôme Lehucher was a partner in the international arbitration group of DWF. His practicefocused on commercial arbitration, investment arbitration and international oil transactions.Jérôme has acted as counsel for Central Asian, Latin American and African states andstate-owned entities, as well as private sector companies in numerous ICSID, UNCITRALand ICC arbitrations, in the energy, mining, agricultural, pharmaceutical, services, technology,communications, sanitation and flood protection sectors, with amounts at stakeranging from US$65 million to US$30 billion. He has also advised clients in the negotiationand follow-up of their petroleum contracts, the drafting of complex dispute resolutionclauses, the protection and structuring of their foreign investments, and the annulment ofarbitral awards before ICSID and domestic courts.
Before joining DWF in January 2018, Jérôme practised for over 13 years at leadinginternational arbitration law firms in Paris, New York and Buenos Aires. He holds an LLMdegree from Northwestern University School of Law, a Master II degree in internationalbusiness law from Paris V René Descartes University and a Master I degree in private lawfrom Paris II Panthéon-Assas University. He is a member of the New York and Paris bars.He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
