James is a Registered Foreign Lawyer (NSW, Australia) in the Hong Kong office of King & Wood Mallesons.                                                  James specialises in international commercial arbitration, cross-border commercial disputes and public international law with a focus on the energy, infrastructure and construction sectors.  His experience includes work under various arbitral rules (namely HKIAC, SIAC, ICC, LCIA and DIAC) and at numerous arbitral seats and jurisdictions in Asia and in Europe.  James has additionally advised on a range of pro bono matters in relation to international refugee law and public international law issues.James obtained a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in 2007 and a Bachelor of Laws (majoring in Private and Public International Law) in 2010, from the University of Sydney.  He also has a Masters of Laws from Australian National University and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in International Dispute Resolution (Arbitration) at Queen Mary, University of London majoring in investment treaty arbitration.  He is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
