Mr Quintana focuses his practice on international dispute resolution through litigation or arbitration in finance, company and asset sales, insurance and reinsurance, sale of merchandise and equipment, transport and maritime law. In recent years, he has advised on many determinations of damages in disputes relating to building projects and company sales.

He has acted as counsel or arbitrator before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), the Construction Industry Arbitration Council (CIAC) and in ad hoc international arbitrations.

He has also acted as counsel or directed legal claims before Chilean, Egyptian, English, Finnish and French courts. Thanks to his command of English and his knowledge of comparative law, he often directs disputes conducted in English and in which knowledge of foreign law is required.

Mr Quintana also lectures on private international law (Conflicts of Laws) on the LLM at the IE Law School.
