Himmy Lui is an associate in Three Crowns’ London office. He has experience in a range of international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations across a number of sectors, including energy, mining and post-acquisition disputes. Before joining Three Crowns, Himmy specialised in commercial dispute resolution in New Zealand, particularly involving matters of insurance, insolvency and property, and made a number of appearances in the High Court. He was also previously a judge’s clerk at the High Court of Auckland.
Himmy holds an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he graduated with distinction. He has been a senior editor of the Auckland University Law Review, notes editor (private law) of the LSE Law Review and editor of the Groningen Journal of International Law. He graduated from the University of Auckland in New Zealand with a BA/LLB (Hons) and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
