Herfried Wöss is a founding partner of Wöss & Partners, an international arbitrator and an expert adjudicator. Dr Wöss frequently sits on complex arbitrations with respect to large infrastructure and energy projects, and damages claims. He was visiting scholar for arbitration at the Georgetown University Law Center from 2012 to 2013 and holds a Magister iuris and a doctorate in international economic law (summa cum laude) from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria, as well as an LLM in international business legal studies from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. He is also a licenciado en derecho admitted in Mexico and a special legal consultant admitted at the Washington DC Bar. He frequently holds and lectures advanced seminars on damages in international arbitration organised with leading arbitration institutions and is domiciled in Mexico City and Vienna.
