Hayley Ichilcik is an associate in O'Melveny & Myers LLP's litigation department, specialising in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution. Hayley has extensive experience in the conduct of complex and high-value commercial disputes on behalf of international parties and has particular experience in disputes concerning joint ventures, M&A, energy, the telecommunications and banking sectors. She has represented clients in numerous international arbitrations under most leading arbitral rules (including ICC, LCIA, VIAC, ICSID) and in various ad hoc arbitrations as well as acting in cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. She was a member of the team representing one of Europe's largest telecommunications companies in an arbitration worth in excess of 2.5 billion. She has acted on behalf of a major financial institution in ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Rules in relation to a claim brought against the government of the Czech Republic. Hayley has recently represented clients in investigations in relation to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and has advised on the implications of the UK Bribery Act.She is a member of the Young International Arbitrators Group of the LCIA and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
