George Spalton is a barrister at 4 New Square in London. He specialises in international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience of international work and has appeared in a number of significant construction disputes in a number of jurisdictions in recent years, whether arbitrations in Dubai, PFI adjudications or trials in the TCC. He was called to the Bar in England in 2004 and the BVI in 2015. He also accepts appointments as arbitrator, and is currently acting as sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in a number of arbitrations. In 2016, George was nominated as Chambers & Partners’ international arbitration junior of the year. George is also an editor of the seventh and eighth editions of Jackson & Powell on Professional Liability.
