Fernando Rodriguez-Cortina is a senior associate in King & Spalding’s Houston office and a member of the international arbitration practice group. His practice focuses on commercial and investor–state arbitration. Fernando has been involved in disputes relating to private and public international law issues, bilateral investment treaties, breach of contract, mergers and acquisitions, and insurance coverage, under the rules of arbitration of the ICC, the ICSID and UNCITRAL. He has represented clients in the oil and gas, mining, retail, construction, pharmaceutical, automotive and insurance industries. He earned his law degree from the Ibero-American University in Mexico City and completed the law and global economy dual degree LLM programme at the New York University School of Law and the National University of Singapore.
