Fahad AlDehais is the managing partner of the Saudi Arabia practice and offices of Mohammed AlDhabaan and Partners in association with Eversheds Sutherland. Fahad started his career in 2003 and is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Justice to provide legal advice, practise law, train lawyers and act as an arbitrator and a notary in Saudi Arabia.Fahad has extensive experience in banking and insurance on which he taught numerous courses with SAMA’s Institute of Banking and Finance. He is also highly experienced in capital market transactions (listing, rights offerings, funds and mergers and acquisitions), corporate and commercial transactions, and sophisticated foreign investments. Fahad is also a practising litigator and has appeared and continues to appear before and attend arbitrations, specialised legal committees (SAMA, CMA and Customs), the Board of Grievances (commercial and administrative circuits), the shariah courts, and the enforcement courts with cases worth in excess of 26 billion Saudi riyals so far.Fahad is an experienced M&A lawyer having worked on PE, M&A and multiple IPOs including a current IPO that has been filed in 1Q17 and an IPO in the parallel market to be filed 3Q17, he is an underwriters counsel and IPO adviser to several new listings, rights offerings and IPO readiness exercises worth up to 3 billion Saudi riyals in total offerings. Fahad has advised and continues to advise on funds including the funds in Saudi Arabia in the hospitality, real estate and venture capital with cumulative value in excess of 3.5 billion Saudi riyals, and multiple special purposes funds for M&A and pre-IPO transactions. Fahad is active in advising several Saudi and GCC-based investment, PE houses and family offices. Prior to joining DAPE, Fahad was a senior associate with another law firm in Riyadh. Fahad had started his career with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency in 2003.
