Edouard Vieille is a senior associate at CMS Paris and a member of CMS’ international arbitration practice group. He assists and represents clients in all types of dispute resolution, including in international arbitration, with a focus on French-speaking Northern and sub-Saharan Africa. He practises both commercial and criminal law in many different sectors, including M&A, banking and finance, insurance, distribution and manufacturing. He also assists clients in matters related to international investment and to international sanctions
In addition to his work as counsel, Edouard Vieille is the author of numerous articles on dispute resolution and he teaches arbitration at the Paris Bar Association school. He holds a master’s degree in law from Panthéon-Assas University, a master’s degree in management from ESCP Business School and a post-graduate diploma from Queen Mary University of London. He is a member of CFA40 (the French Committee on Arbitration for practitioners under 40 years old).
